I developed and currently maintain the Reftagger module for Drupal. Reftagger is a tool offered by Logos (Bible software company) that renders scripture references into clickable links as well as tooltips with the text of the reference.
Reftagger is very easy to setup, even on non-Drupal sites, but the Drupal module makes it even that much easier. The magic of Retagger is in a javascript file that you add to your page template.

I had problems with the Java code from Logos. It worked but it turned all of the links on my site to bold blue including the menu links! Ugly! But your module fixed this!!! Thank you!

Reftagger causing Permissions error
When Reftagger is installed in Drupal 7 I get an error going to admin/people/permissions. Uninstalling Reftagger fixes the problem.
Good work on the Reftagger module!
Had to use the dev version to resolve an issue that was causing "500 Internal Server Error" but it's working well now. Thanks.
